Please note glycerol-free syrup is only available in the above two flavours and must be requested at the time of booking.
Important Glycerol Guidance:
Some slush syrups on the market contain glycerol (E422), which is commonly used to:
• Lower the freezing point
• Improve texture and consistency
• Maintain pourability
The UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) has advised that excessive consumption of glycerol-based slush drinks may pose health risks to young children.
Reported symptoms include:
• Low blood sugar (Hypoglycaemia)
• Drowsiness or lethargy
• Loss of consciousness
• Hospitalisation in severe cases
FSA Guidance:
• Children under 4 should not consume glycerol-based slush drinks
• Free refills should not be offered to children under 10 where glycerol-based syrup is used
